MICHAEL HANEGAN, Co-Creator of The Outpost
Michael currently serves as the ministry leader of communications at the Northwest Church of Christ in Westminster, Colorado. Michael studied Bible and Ministry at Oklahoma Christian University and hopes to begin graduate work at Denver Seminary in the spring pursuing an MA in New Testament. Ultimately, Michael would like to complete a PhD in Missional Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary. He has been married for four years to Kris and they are expecting their first child, Samuel Malachi, in September. Michael’s particular interests in the missional conversation are the interaction of missional practices and current hermeneutical paradigms as well as the multi-ethnic and multi-lingual implications of a missional church in a culturally and linguistically diverse context. He rambles and occassionally writes on all sorts of topics at his personal website, FlannelJesus.com.
